What is circle? and why?

Circle is a 5 night, 6 day mystery immersion for facilitators, space holders and healers in Playa Grande, Costa Rica. Every single participant (10-15 total) will also be guiding/teaching a class, workshop or activation. As a participant, you will fill out a conscious feedback and testimonial form for each facilitator and you will receive the same for yourself from the other participants.

I will be holding the ceremonial pulse and (of course) offering my signature Transformational Photography activation. I will also be the only person who knows what other facilitation will be offered (the seduction of the mystery) but you can trust each person has been heart-chosen and divinely vetted by me.

I’ve been in the retreat space for 3 years now and I’m interested in creating gatherings where everyone gets to share their gifts, medicine and wisdom with each other. Spaces that feel less like a triangle and more like a circle.

Who is Circle for?

This immersion is for women who lead, host, teach, hold, facilitate, heal and guide others. You don’t have to be full-time but you are expected to be practiced and confident. This is not a space to hold group space for the first time, but you are encouraged to stretch beyond your comfort zone and bring us to your edge with you.

If you’re familiar with my spaces and have worked with me 1:1 or joined other immersions and want to join but haven’t had experience guiding groups – now is the perfect time to start. You’ve got five months to open your channel and practice offering your gifts to others before immersing yourself in this container. Let this be your initiation.

Circle is for you if you want to receive new codes, upgrade the fuck out of your facilitation, say yes to the unknown, trust fall into an experience beyond your imagination, expand into a new family of sisters that will birth the collaborations, transformations and celebrations you’ve been calling in.


What kind of offerings are you looking for?

This is not a yoga retreat. I want you to bring your unique perspective and medicine to the space. If you want to guide us through breath work… awesome! But what makes it special? What makes it you.

There’s no limitations, there’s nothing specific I’m looking for. This experience is for the the full-spectrum. From rage ritual release to lover girl era poetry to mindful marketing to lineage healing womb massage to awakening psychic gifts to shamanic basket weaving to herbalism for sexual ecstasy… Give me what moves through you.

What will our time look like?

Each day will bring with it a completely different series of experiences. Mornings will start with optional beach walks, coffee and fruit and an activation. Breakfast will be served and the second workshop of the day will follow. We’ll break for lunch and pool time before our afternoon class. We’ll enjoy sunset on the beach and ocean dips every evening. Dinner and a final practice will close us down for the night.

We will also enjoy an afternoon of integration in nature away from Sol Sanctuary on our final day together.

What do I need to know about food and lodgings?

We will be staying at Sol Sanctuary Retreat Center. This is my fourth immersion at this venue and I am so excited to be returning. Sol Sanctuary is just across the bay of my hometown where I was born and raised in Costa Rica–full circle indeed.

Rooms are shared bungalow style (2-5 people per bungalow). Each woman will have her own bed and each unit has its own bathroom and private patio.

Food is will be organic and as local as possible. Two big meals a day and a nourishing snack with be provided. Allergies will be submitted and accounted for via the intake form you’ll receive once your application is approved.

What do I need to know about Arrival/Departure and traveling to Costa Rica?

You will be flying into Guanacaste Airport (LIR) about 1.5 hours from Sol Sanctuary. Private and shared shuttle options ($35-95) will become available for sign-up closer to the retreat date.

You may arrive to Playa Grande earlier and stay at a nearby AirBnb or hotel and receive a free local pick up on our start date. There is also an airport hotel near LIR.

You are expected to arrive to Sol Sanctuary by 3pm on December 4 and leave by noon on December 9. It is highly suggested to arrive to Costa Rica 1-2 days early to account for delayed/cancelled/missed flights. Affordable hostels, airbnbs and hotels are available in the Playa Grande area and can be split with other participants. If easeful travel does not allow for this please contact me directly to discuss.

The sooner you book flights, the cheaper it is. I’m seeing nonstop roundtrips from LAX to LIR for $350 right now… Get on it!!!

  • Even though I did not know what to expect, this retreat changed who I am as a person forever. The perfect harmony of the group, Margo's space holding and conviction, and the workshops and practices worked together to create a magic that is hard to find the words for. It was five days long but I feel like I did two years worth of healing. Many of these values: slowing down, learning to rest, learning to breathe, asking for what you want, receiving unapologetically, *seem* like easy lessons to learn, BUT THEY ARE NOT, and this retreat actually integrated those lessons into my body. I wish that I could live in that world forever. I will be connected to these women for a long time because of the ancient and prolific healing we all did together and witnessed one another in. I felt love-- love existed in the meals we shared, the looks across the table, the hands held, the tears shed, the desires asked for and received, and the unconditional acceptance of one another despite the time. Margo was the architect of a realm that we all need, but we hardly ever have access to. She cultivated it into five days of pure ecstatic bliss.

  • This retreat was transformative. I learned to nurture my relationship to all things I do and am in this life. I felt so safe in the spaces these facilitators held that I genuinely experienced a shift within myself. When I arrived in this space I was nervous how I would be received and if I would get along with other women present, that feeling slowly began to fade as I surrendered to this experience and fell into the warm, loving embrace of sisterhood. I released stories around how I relate to the World and created new ones rooted in my heart centered Truth. Leaving this experience I am confident in who I am as a woman and know I am worthy of being loved.   • I keep smelling my dirty clothes from the trip. The sweet smell of frankincense, sage, tears, and sweat linger on them as I try to breathe in any part of you all that remains. I haven't washed my hair since returning, hoping that the salt from the sea and the magic we made will soak into me through my scalp. I bleed, releasing the version of me that can no longer exist, the love you each showed me cut through her skin and she exploded into a million tiny particles of gold dust. I am releasing old habits, old beliefs, old fears, and old dreams. For I have become brand new. Thank you to each and everyone one of you for holding me in this transformation. Thank you for being exactly as you are, you have all inspired me to live more authentically. Thank you all for allowing me to witness you, you have carved a path for me. And finally thank you for witnessing me, so wild and so free. This was a fear released.

  • It is hard to find the words to express the significant transformation I experienced throughout body ceremony. I never imagined I could feel so at home in my own body. Every component of the retreat is intentional and flows in a natural manner with each workshop and practice building on the last.   • vizua was one giant time-bendy, heart cracking, edge pushing sleepover. the group of women that showed up were all in, and that allowed us to drop in quicker than any circle i have ever been in before. the way i was witnessed and permissed during vizua set a new standard for me in all of my relationships. we giggled and cried and danced our way through transformation. never in my life has shedding old skins been so easeful and welcomed.
