Hi there! I’m Margo: intimacy guide, transformational photographer and sensual enlivenment facilitator.

I help people express, explore and embody their sexuality through healing arts modalities that develop connection to their body, nature and the unseen.

Background - Education - Experience

I’m half dutch, half American, born and raised in the tiny yet mighty town of Tamarindo, Costa Rica. I’ve been based in Los Angeles (and loving it) for eight years.

I have a BS in Nutrition from Boston University. Physical health and wellness, sociopolitical structures and relationship between mind and body are the foundations of my practice. I started my very unofficial career as a commercial yoga and swimwear photographer during the early days of content creation in LA. I dreamed of shooting the cover of Sports Illustrated and spent my first few years on the west coast trying to climb my way up that creaky ladder.

Every day on set I would hear stories from the models about the abuse, harassment and darkness in the industry. For many I was either the first or one of the only female photographers they had ever been captured by. I witnessed countless women find safety and comfort in their expression while behind the lens. Without knowing yet, I had just begun my journey of becoming a space holder and healing guide.

In my early twenties I found my queer and polyamorous identity before it was common and well before TikTok had endless educational content. I walked my path largely alone and made a plethora of cringe-worthy mistakes I have enough self-love to laugh at now. Just before I turned 24 I got married. The marriage turned toxic and abusive and I clawed my way out, leaving with nothing but my dog and my passport at 26. I was brought to my knees with despair, grief and failure. I worked closely with a therapist, discovered shadow work, sat with plant medicine and turned my victimhood into accountability and power.

I claimed my life fully and journeyed into the worlds of tantra, kink, and sex work. I chose to mentor under a tantric dominatrix/erotic bodyworker/energy sex healer and integrated as much as I could into my personal life. In 2020 I started an OnlyFans that gained massive traction for my naked nature escapades as well as an anonymous place for people to ask me advice on relationships and sexuality (especially those pertaining to queerness and non-monogamy). As the world began to open up again, I explored in-person work and found myself facilitating a full spectrum of experiences for couples. From cuckolding to tickle play… I dove in head first and resurfaced with a well of understanding on human behavior, eroticism, connection and pleasure.

By 2022 my I coined the term Transformational Photography to describe my healing arts service. In this space, the camera is not just equipment but the medium. The subject is not just the muse but the alchemist. I’ve photographed close to 1,000 women over the last decade and have continued to allow my foundation as a witness guide me into new levels of my service. In 2023 I opened my Intimacy Coaching practice and began welcoming in couples, individuals of all genders, and group support both virtually and in-person.

Over the last four years I’ve hosted over 12 women’s retreats, worked with clients in short and long form 1:1 containers and developed three signature sensual embodiment workshops that I host regularly.

I’m currently completing an Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certificate by The Embody Lab and doing my deepest personal work in my current committed partnership.
