There are not enough spaces in the world for women to feel the Earth, their bodies and each other outside of the societal gaze.
So we created one.
Venus Rising is a women’s gathering spotlighting performance arts as sacred ritual, celebrating connection to nature as a healing practice and uplifting the sanctity of your erotic aliveness.
At Venus Rising you’ll spend four nights and five days inviting all of you to come center stage, not to play a role but to experience yourself as the masterpiece on 200 acres of private old growth forest on the Molalla River just south of Portland, Oregon.

All about Trout Creek Wilderness Lodge
Hidden within 200 acres of protected old-growth forest, Trout Creek Wilderness Lodge (our home for the week) sits at the sacred confluence of the Molalla River and Trout Creek. Rushing water, towering cedars, moss-covered trails, and salmon-rich ecosystems create a heaven-on-Earth dreamscape.
TCWL sits on the original land of the Molala, which translates to people of the berries. It’s an honor and a privilege to gather here and contribute to funding the generational conservation easement dedicated to preserving the integrity of the forest, river habitat, and native ecology.
Throughout our time, we’ll gather along the crystal-clear Molalla River as bald eagles swoop overhead as we sit under the shade of the forest canopy. The lodge itself blends rustic comfort with wild immersion: cedar bath house soaks, riverside activation spaces, forest trails, glamping accommodations, communal gathering areas, ceremonial fire pits and plenty of room to dance under the stars. Every detail of the property reflects a devotion to restoration, ecological stewardship, and intentional connection with nature.

The lodge is located about 1–1.5 hours southeast of Portland by car, making it accessible while still feeling deeply immersed in nature.
If you are flying in, we recommend booking flights into Portland International Airport (PDX).The drive from Portland takes you through beautiful Oregon farmland and into the foothills of the Cascades, with Mount Hood often visible along the way.
A group chat will open at the end of June to coordinate carpools, car rentals, taxis or shared transport with other participants.
If you are driving, there is plenty of room to park your car on the property.
Please plan travel to arrive between 1:30-2:30pm on July 13.
We begin our journey together at 3pm sharp.
Please plan to depart the lodge at noon on July 17.

We will be gathering during peak summer season in Oregon! This means dry, warm and sunny weather. Expect high 70s/low 80s during the day and high 50s in the evening.
Please pack accordingly:
5 comfortable, breathable outfits for 5 days of activations and explorations
1-2 more durable and protective outfits for exploring the old growth forest
Any clothing items that make you feel especially beautiful, sexy and free. Layering pieces like silks, scarves and robes are always fun in these environments.
1-2 bathing suits for sauna and creek dips (suits are optional!)
Slides, slippers or flip flops for ease
Close toed shoes to protect your feet from the elements
Warm and cozies (a sweatsuit and good socks) for cool evenings and mornings.

Please Note
All sleeper cabins have access to power, heat and contain charging ports. They also feature fresh linens and blankets, pillows, headlamps, first-aid kits, bug repellant, and kerosene lanterns.
Jupe glamping tents are engineered from the latest technologies, feature queen beds, solar-powered LED lighting, high ceilings, ample light from four windows, bed side tables, USB outlets, dual controlled heated blankets & space heaters.
Each Bell Tent is situated in its own quaint camping spot with cedar chip paths. The Bell Tents measure fourteen feet in diameter and have ample headspace as well as lanterns to light up the space in the evenings. The queen beds have, comfortable bamboo pillows, high thread count cotton sheets, rugs, bedside tables and battery candles.
All accomodations are serviced by the Communal Lodge with kitchen, grilling area, indoor & outdoor dining areas, showers & bathrooms, living room, musical instruments (piano, organ, guitar, drums & more). Access is open twenty four hours as well as access to the Cedar Bath House with twelve person sauna and eight foot cedar hot tub with two massage tables, tea & water station, changing room, and outdoor shower with cold water plunge clawfoot tub.

Margo Renate is a Costa Rican healing arts facilitator and intimacy guide with Dutch & American ancestry. She helps people express, explore and embody their sexuality through modalities that develop connection to body, nature and the unseen. Her supported spaces are for beings ready to reclaim their pleasure & power and become erotically ungovernable. The mission of Margo’s work is collective sexual liberation and erotic aliveness through art, Earth and spirit. Margo has been holding women for a decade and leading retreat spaces for over five years and is only just getting started. Her work blends elemental ritual, somatic practices, embodiment exercises, relational work, creative expression and honest conversation to inspire curiosity, awaken sensual enlivenment and invite deeper capacity to hold the whole.
